Ironline Command
Ironline Command is a strategy game that trusts you to think. Instead of overwhelming you with units, it focuses on logistics — where your supplies flow, which routes the enemy can cut, and when to overextend. It's slower and more deliberate than most mobile strategy, and that's exactly its strength.
Battles play out in real time but you can pause to issue orders, which makes it playable on a touchscreen without feeling clumsy. The maps are tight, readable, and full of chokepoints that reward defenders who dig in. I lost my first three skirmishes badly before the systems clicked, and then it became hard to put down.
The campaign teaches you steadily and the challenge scaling is honest. There's no premium unit that trivializes everything. If you like strategy that's about brains rather than swarms, this one earns its place.
