Casinacho

★★★★☆ 4.4 Editor rating

Casinacho surprised me. It looks like a small casual pick from the thumbnail, but underneath it's a genuine exploration adventure. You guide a curious traveler through a string of connected districts, tapping to move, swiping to look around corners, and holding to interact with the little details that fill each screen. The controls are clean — everything is one-handed, which matters a lot on a phone during a commute.

The heart of the game is discovery. Each area hides small puzzle rooms, gentle logic challenges built around switches, pathways and timing. Nothing here punishes you; if you get stuck, the game slowly hints without spoiling. What I liked most was how the world reacts to you — solve a room and a shortcut opens, a character starts a new bit of dialogue, a locked door somewhere else clicks open. It rewards paying attention.

Pacing is where Casinacho really wins. Sessions can be five minutes or fifty and both feel complete. Progress saves instantly, there's no punishing energy timer nagging you, and the art has a soft, hand-drawn charm that made me keep the screen brightness up just to look at it. It's not a demanding game, but it's a genuinely relaxing one, and I kept coming back.
